Qualifiers to European Championships
1. Qualifiers via IHHF member organisations
All IHHF member organisations listed below are eligible to host qualifying events. However, their qualification plans must be submitted to IHHF by the beginning of January 2025. If you are unsure whether your country’s or region’s association is eligible to host qualifiers, please contact your national or local association for more information.
2. Qualifiers via IHHF video qualifiers
Individuals can enter through the official video qualifiers. This allows riders from countries without a functioning organisation – or those unable to attend their national qualifiers – to take part in the final. More information coming soon.
1. Qualifiers via IHHF member organisations
CZECH REPUBLIC (Czech Hobby Horsing Asocciation - ČHHA)
Qualification dates: 18 April 2026 (Prague) / 26 April 2026 (Brno)
Show jumping (open / junior): Winners of both qualification events will receive direct nomination; remaining places will be filled according to the fastest times until the Czech quota/allocation is reached.
Dressage (open / junior): Each qualification event will be judged by two judges. Points will be awarded based on placement, and the total score (sum of both judges) will determine the final ranking. If a rider competes in both qualification events, the better result will be considered. In case of a tie, the Sport Committee will make the final decision.
High jumping (open / junior): Competitors will be ranked according to their best height achieved across both qualification events. Riders with the highest results will be nominated until the Czech quota/allocation is filled.
Western (open / junior): Each qualification event will be judged by two judges. Points will be awarded based on placement, and the total score (sum of both judges) will determine the final ranking. If a rider competes in both qualification events, the better result will be considered. In case of a tie, the Sports Committee will make the final decision.

Show jumping (open / junior): Riders will be nominated based on their results at the Czech Championships held in December 2025, which serve as the primary selection criterion. The nominated riders must then confirm their performance at an official qualifying competition on 28–29 March 2026, ensuring consistent results and readiness for international competition.

Western (open / junior): For Western riding disciplines, riders will be nominated solely based on their performance at the qualifying competition held on 28–29 March 2026.

FINLAND (Finnish Hobby Horse Association)
Show jumping (open / junior):
1. The winner of the 2025 Finnish Showjumping Championship.
2. The individual, who has collected the most Ranking points during the 25-26 season in their discipline and age group before 1.4.2026.
For reserve positions, or in the event of more than 2 starting places, the first choice will be the individual who has the second most ranking points in their discipline and age group, and then the rider who placed second in the 2025 Finnish Showjumping Championships.
Dressage (open / junior):

2. The individual, who has collected the most Ranking points during the 25-26 season in their discipline and age group before 1.4.2026.
For reserve positions, or in the event of more than 2 starting places, the first choice will be the individual who has the second most ranking points in their discipline and age group, and then the rider who placed second in the 2025 Finnish Dressage Championships.

1️⃣ Download the Instructions
Download the attached PDF with instructions for recording the qualification task and read it carefully.
2️⃣ Record the Qualification Task
Record your video according to the instructions in the PDF.
3️⃣ Upload the Video Online
Upload your completed video to:

YouTube (we recommend setting it as Unlisted), or

Google Drive (share via link)
⚠️ Make sure the link is accessible so the evaluators can view your video.
4️⃣ Fill Out the Application Form
Insert the link to your video into the application form below and complete all required fields.
5️⃣ Submit and Wait for the Results
After submitting the application, simply wait for the evaluation results.
